There is no chance that the people fighting for states rights in the Civil War would have abided unwanted federal troops on their streets. They didn't even want them in Federal forts.

Realizing you are much more knowledgeable about disease transmission than an MD. I will one last time explain the mask isn't worn to keep someone from getting a pathogen it's worn to help stop giving one.

It doesn't do that either. You are carrying a dirty diaper around and no its not going to stop that either. Its like saying I will put a screen door on a submarine to keep the air in. Masks are good for keep substances like snot, spit, food material, bacteria, etc. from say entering a open capacity during surgery. The aliens in War of the Worlds would have still all died if you wore a mask. And if everyone wears a mask, you were going to get covid and you are going to get a cold.

Fugitive slave act. States felt it was their right to mind their own business when it came to runaway slaves. They morally disagreed with the enforcement of the law and they nullified it. The feds were compelling the enforcement of those laws upon them. This was definitely a states rights issue. It went down in the annals of history as such. And it almost exactly parallels the current situation with ICE and the NG.

Yes, the southern states were treasonous which is why they seceded.

There is no legal States' rights conflict about what Illinois and Oregon are doing at this point. They, as States, are grossly overstepping.
