Also we still had 3 timeouts and would've gotten the ball back anyway, we just would've had to go 40 yards longerNot to mention that had the refs correctly interpreted the rule when the Arkansas punter kicked it through the end zone, we’d have gotten the ball at the 1 instead of a safety, meaning we’d have had to go 1 yard for the winning score instead of 40. That was bad luck.
It was also bad luck losing the best RB on the planet in game 4 of the season.
You sound like one of the dumber Kentucky fans whining when the ones with common sense say that it may be hard to be Tennessee considering they rarely ever do it. Or just like yourself when you thought everyone was dumb and scared for think Mississippi State might not be a cakewalk.Outside of last year, how many people from either program were involved in any of those games? A lot of you look to be scared of your own shadows
What team that won the national championship in Fulmer’s era shouldn’t have? Maybe should have won another conference title or two, but it wasn’t as if there weren’t other teams that were as talented as we were during Fulmer’s heyday. Nebraska , Florida, and Florida State were all supremely talented from 93-99, and in 01 Miami was one of the best teams ever.i will always love and respect Coach Fulmer but let’s be real he really should’ve won 4 or 5 SEC titles and another national title with all the talent he had.
I don’t think Alaska was in the SEC that yearI get tired of people saying that it was a miracle or luck that TN beat Arkansas in 98. BR told CPF that the defense would get the ball back as they were taking the field. Sure enough he pushed the guard back causing him to step on the QB’s foot causing the fumble. That’s not a miracle it’s determination. TN then proceeded to run the ball down AK’s throat. That’s not a miracle or luck but determination. Even AK’s coach admitted this fact. TN absolutely earned that win and it wasn’t a miracle or luck. It was simply a team wanting it more.
You sound like a fool that talks hard and comes off as real clueless when real life comes at you. Just because you’re soft as Charmin and a punk in real life doesn’t mean everyone else is an estrogen filled coward like you. Love to see you at a tailgate. Arkansas is often a surprisingly tough game for us, including that one last year as you recall, so it’s fair to say they shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Before the VN "Merge of Threads" blunder there was a thread with set of rules most of us tried to follow. A couple that come to memory is "Don't create a thread for every that pops up in your head" and " See if there is already a thread for that topic before posting another".Yeah part of the appeal of sports is the nostalgia and the history of the games. I know that angers many Vol fans that people like to talk about the past, but that’s a pretty significant and universal part of sports fandom.
Most of Tennessee's football success is pretty 2000 though and primarily with Neyland. Neyland was our Saban and we haven't gotten lucky since. Maybe Heupel will go on a run though...Very disturbing how well they play against us, honestly. In every sport. I’m pretty sure basketball hasn’t won in Fayetteville since 2009. Baseball has been absolutely dominated by them, which is insane considering how good we have been over the last 5 years. Tennessee football still owns a pretty decisive 13-6 record against them overall, but they pretty much always play us close. The games with the highest stakes for both teams have mostly been won by Tennessee, though (1989, 1998 and 2002, for example).
The basketball program beat them by 29 points in Fayetteville the year before last. You get horribly bent out of shape when someone says your favorite football team might struggle more than you think they will in an upcoming football game. That’s not indicative of High T, pal. It’s more indicative of insecurity and low self esteem. You sound like a fool that talks hard and comes off as real clueless when real life comes at you. I wonder if you get so bent out of shape about the “rules” if the person is giving unabashed praise. Before the VN "Merge of Threads" blunder there was a thread with set of rules most of us tried to follow. Didn't need another threads to discuss the same topic was my point. Appears that was over your head.
Not quite sure how I feel about your wondering about me, so stop.I wonder if you get so bent out of shape about the “rules” if the person is giving unabashed praise.
Now I wonder what happened in life to make you so weird. Were you a hall monitor growing up?Not quite sure how I feel about your wondering about me, so stop.
I liked Freak's rules. They were simple and straightforward, shame they are no longer posted. But I see no problem with a gentle nudge to an OP hinting not to start threads to discuss a topic already being discussed another thread is really a noer. That opinion comes without judgment on the nature of the thread, positive or negative.
If you inferred that I meant gay then you would be wrong once again. You’re trying to make the word “wonder” sound gay and also bítching about following rules as if you’re a hall monitor.
Yeah that’s pretty weird.
