How do you have serious recruiting violations when you can pay players? It sounds to me like they are trying to get leverage to avoid giving Bill his full buyout. They went from singing his praises a few weeks ago to stories in local media quoting parents about how bad things are behind the scenes. It's going to be interested to see what happens because it sounds like even the board members that bought Bill in have soured on him already.

Wife just informed me we have to go to dinner for her 85 year old mom on the 18th…Can you take out the restaurant while you’re taking things out?

How healthy is she? If shes in good health no reason to think she doesn’t have the time to wait a day. Or if she is in bad health maybe you can convince for the Friday. Can’t imagine the 85 year olds schedule is that busy. Doctors offices aren’t even open in the evenings.

Also, WTH was your wife thinking?! She’s not gonna spare you a mental breakdown by making you go to dinner. If anything she’s going to cause you a sudden and unexpected case of diarrhea that has you in the bathroom for most of dinner, and magically cured by the time you get home.

Bill is so distracted and so over his head. He was excellent at what he was excellent at -having every advantage and eliminating all distractions. He has none of that in this circumstance.

At least Saban saw the writing. He tries to spin that he loved growing kids, but what it really was is he lost control of the same crap Bill had.
