Social Media "Buzzing" About Arch / Tennessee???

It appears Arch, fundamentally, is a mess, both physically & mentally. He needs a great QB coach. Sark has done a terrible job with him. I’m sure Josh would bring him in but no promises.

I'm not so sure you can put the blame on Sark

Cut was brought in per request of the Mannings to assist in Archs development.

Some just aren't gonna make it. That entire QB was waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy over rated.

Arch may benefit from another situation but it's hard to run from your last name.

I have no proverbial dog in the hunt but I agree about Sark. I personally have never been a fan. He seems to carry massive baggage around with him all the time. Arch is clearly struggling at this level and I hope for his sake he’s getting support/encouragement/instructions on how to develop. Cause at this point …I ain’t seeing it🤷‍♂️.

I haven't seen anything from Arch that excites me. He holds on to the ball way to long and he doesn't throw with anticipation. He waits for his WRs to get open instead of throwing them open. His mechanics are bad as well and that blows my mind with his last name. I wish the best for the kid but I just don't believe he'll ever live up to his hype

Nice young man. Love his family. But he had his chance to be a Volunteer and went another direction.

All that being said, it makes no sense for him to come to Knoxville. We are going to have a good QB room already, I think.

Wasn’t aware Cutcliffe has been working with him. How does that work with him working in the SEC office? I’m not claiming to know 1/1000th about QB play that DC does but he appears all screwed up throwing & the results support my position.

No clue. I just remember that Cut being around to "mentor" Arch was part of the deal. Maybe he's just working with him independent of the Longhorns?

It's not just Arch. Basically losing a HS season for Covid really messed up QB evaluations there for a few years man. Granted Arch would be the #1 recruit any year because of his name but pretty much every QB from that class has been a bust.

He couldn't beat out Quinn Ewers, a 7th round draft pick. If you watch the tape of the competition that he played against in HS, it wasn't great. His high QB ranking out of HS was based simply on his name and media hype. Now, he might be hurt- rumor has it that he's had a shoulder strain coming out of fall camp but he looks very average against top tier competition. He supposedly "got right" against Sam Houston St. Sam Houston St.... let that sink in.

His articles are just not good, often with little info after a bs headline.
Agree with all, I have been looking at that site for a few weeks now and it seems that Zack Ragen is the primary writer of all their articles. Don't know if he feels to pressure to put articles out there every day but it seems he has resorted to a lot of clickbait articles. And this article about Arch is one of them. Don't bite.

I think we will need to take a QB out of the portal for next year, but I'm not sure he is my first choice.

Merk will transfer out.

We will need a guy who is happy as a 3rd stringer getting another free year of school and a little bit of NIL money.

Basically, a Gaston Moore type lol

(Speaking of Moore, I didn't realize until last week he was playing for Golesh at USF now.)

nah I want another scrappy vet who will compete with Gmac, not a seat warmer. As a general rule, every player we take in the portal should be able to win starting jobs.

If JA leaves, do you still think Merk will leave? Isn’t he being groomed to take over for JA.

Faison is coming in leaving two 5*s on the roster. No "scrappy vet" will want anything to do with us next year lol. Any one with two brain cells will look elsewhere.
