For all you effing a$$holes dumping on this kid how about learning the facts before commenting.

“In a newly released video a car being driven by former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy can be seen nearly 100 yards behind a fatal crash that killed a 78 year old man last December. Lacy's car is seen on the video approaching and driving around the deadly accident. Lacy was later charged with negligent homicide, felony hit and run and reckless operation of a vehicle in the case. Lacy committed suicide one day before a grand jury hearing in his case.”

So the kid was innocent and the police and DA are dirty. They killed this young man. Some of you are disgusting.

If the talk about an officer on camera coaching a man on what to say is true then someone needs to be charged. But good luck with that.

It’s not clear still. He was speeding and in other lane illegally and it affected the crash somewhat. Maybe the homicide charge gets dropped but he clearly did the charges. Also he tried to kill a family member by shooting them and ran from police.

The shooting has jack all s*** to do with this case so eff off on that.

Ok so innocent of homicide and hit and run and maybe the reckless operation of the vehicle. Woooo, good job, you're trying to paint him as guilty by latching onto the least serious charge but still tying him to the major charges.

States are cracking down on Vehicular Homicide . Add hit & run to that. (Possibly drinking?) Let's see how much sports privilege weighs in this. I wish people would just slow down , pay attention, and act right behind the wheel. Senseless loss of life. Geeze. Death is final, why don't people think ?
After reading the story again, what was this fool doing? Thought the Highway was his exclusive Nascar track? He ran because was impaired. He had better get Jail time. We would.

LSU historically has the dumbest players in college football.

The new video shows him traveling at high speed and his lawyer says he was about 70 yards behind the accident when it occurred. But if he was going 90 mph, 70 yards is less than 2 seconds away. It still seems likely that the driver of the car saw him approaching at very high speed, panicked, and moved into the path of another vehicle.

He was guilty. Of a lot. And you are trying to excuse a violent criminal because of circumstantial stuff

Feel bood about yourself now? You a good Christan boy?
Do you feel good up there on your high horse? The public was basically lied to in this case. I already saw this young man's death as a tragedy even before recent revelations. My first post ITT was a rush to judgment based on inaccurate information. I notice you didn't bother to reference my second post.

Why shouldn't someone be upset over someone, particularly someone young, dying unnecessarily, regardless of their criminal record?
there are tons of people all over the world who die daily, including criminals, family members, child molesters, homeless, politicians, police, mothers and kids. All deaths are “tragic” in someway but that’s life. A stranger you don’t know who was a violent criminal isn’t going to make me lose sleep at night. Tragic life? Sure but it happens

Except he didn't...
How do you know this. He was driving 70mph or more in the opposite lane heading head on towards the turning car that saw him, it’s very easy to see he likely caused the crash. Of course this was also before he tried to kill a family member and ran from police.

Of course that has nothing to do with the crash

I mean, I can't defend anyone driving like this. If he was 70 yards from the woman traveling at 70mph, that's a reaction time or head on collision in less than 1.4 seconds.

She had no idea if he was going to brake or not. I'd probably veered right instead of incoming traffic though. Bad situation all around.
