Precisely this! It shows constantly in rankings, recruiting rankings, media hype for team/players, officiating against us no matter who we play, etc. It is sickening to keep having to see it. Can’t imagine how the coaches and players feel. Can you imagine how the team feels going to Tuscaloosa, having to play at night, and knowing the officiating will be heavily skewed?

We will absolutely get screwed over...that is a given. I wonder what the over/under is on TDs and huge plays they takeaway from us with phantom opi or tickeytack offensive holding on the OL...or conversely down how many huge 3rd or 4th down conversions will they make thanks to dubious DH or DPI?

I’ll go with 5 total. How about O/U of penalties thrown against them that are not procedure penalties? Line is set at 0.5.

There’s a reason the SEC has a reputation that every Big 10 team fan endlessly tries to refute looking like a hobo begging for change. Nobody says the same about the Big 10. The rankings reflect it, even when they put pretenders like Illinois and Indiana up there for no reason. It’s just sad at this point.

Take your L and your medicine and shut up Stool. Unless you’re an OSU fan, and even with them before last year, there’s not much argument to be had. Period.

Bottom line is that the B1G wins once and awhile, the SEC wins all the time. The top B1G teams eat cake all year and maybe play one or two games while the SEC team face a gauntlet every year. A favorable schedule to an SEC team would be a nightmarish hellscape for a team like Blowhio State.

If he doesn’t play a down, I can’t see him falling past RD2. He’ll be 100% by combine and good testing numbers will bump him back up. But I do hope he plays again this year.

To NFL peeps the combines mean more than performance at the college level. If he sits and shows out at the combine he will be fine. Actual play on the field only gets you on the radar.

Agree on Farooq, but Beasley and Turrentine probably wouldn’t start at MTSU.

Everyone here said the same thing about our guy who plays a lot now for the Rams!

Turrentine is having to play way too many snaps per game.

One thing I do find interesting and not talked much about, McCoy was dressed at Mississippi state.

Since we have no real depth beyond what is playing, would he have come in if someone got hurt? Why would he be fully dressed? Honestly curious.

Guessing he comes back either for OU or NMSU.

If he's being extremely cautious, NMSU makes the most sense. Gives him almost 6 more weeks to recover and he can still get 3+ games on tape before the Combine.

We will actually probably play more zone with McCoy out. When he and Gibson were in there that is when we went heavy man.
