VFL Donte Thornton just made a big catch on 3rd and 9 to get the Chefs down inside the 10. On a 50/50 ball where Kermit got popped .

The Chefs then ran the same BS offensive pass interference play that UGA used to score one of their TDs this season...where you line up 2 WRs on the same side of tje field and then make them cross eachother as soon as the ball is snapped. 1 of them sets a pick on the DB covering the other WR so that he is wide open for the TD. Its illegal in college and should be called every time (but UGA did it to us this year, Clemson did it to Sabans Bama team in the title game for the winning score also few years back) Apparently in the NFL...that "rub" or "pick" is legal as long as its AT or 1 YARD past the LOS. The Chefs snapped the ball from the 1...threw it to Kelce 2 or 3yards deep in the endzone...and the ref threw the flag for PI. Kermit immediately started holding up 1 finger and arguing with the refs...and the TV guys said its legal up to 1 yard past the LOS? Really weird.

Also...remember that Peyton and Eli call tjhe game on ESPN2. Better than the regular broadcast IMO

Also, i think i am gonna just spell "the" as "tje" from now on. So tired of correcting that crap. I bang out about 50wpm with the Thumbs of Fury and always have to go back and fix it. Tired of it 😆

Hey @Grand Vol and errbody else.. any of you have experience with FRT forced reset triggers? They are legal and have insane fire rates on most guns. It looks like on at least some models, if you pin the trigger back when you squeeze it you can still fire single rounds rather than dumping half or all of a mag. Any of yall used one yet? This guy yaps a lot, but he also tests this FRT on a good range of rifles in the video. I have seen them on Glock and other pistols also...they can dump a 17 round mag in about 2secs or so?

Couple questions if you know:

How easy would it be to change out on a Glock34?

How easy on an AR from say Palmetto?

Seems crazy on a pistol but I could see putting one on an AR. Especially if you have more than 1 rifle in different calibers etc but still on an AR platform

I just saw the video of the OU player hitting the stadium wall. His momentum carried him through the end zone. He hit hard. Made me think about our stadium and the proximity of the walls especially in the corner of the end zones. I hope as they invest in upgrading NS, there is a plan to move those wall further back.

Oklahoma's space around the field is a lot less than Neylands. Like a lot, and its not just in the corner of the endzones like in NS. just look at what the sidelines look like in a game, everyone is crammed into a small space.

NS has removed seatings a couple times in the corners to add more space. things still may not be great, but its a lot better than it was when I was there.

I didn't look at OU's stadium and compare. those corners in the south endzone of NS look like they are about 8 feet away from the corner of the end zone stripe.

its probably pretty close between the two, after looking at pictures I still think Neyland has more space, but its not as much as I thought.

It was a nasty collision. I saw the play during game highlights, but didn’t hear whether he was injured or how badly he was injured.

Hahahahaha. Thanks.

I was all hype for ole Tyquan. Thought that was our man streaking down the field there. Thats hilarious. I havent been watching much NFL since the Panthers and Titans both suck. Mostly just the playoffs. Dont do fantasy football either. Appreciate the heads up man

So I had an interesting opportunity today. One of our business partners was able to procure two full up functional systems of our primary competitor via a surplus auction. And they loaned them to us until the end of the year to do as we please they just want them back in the same condition they gave them to us in.

So I asked to look under the hood to see how they implemented my part of their design. Our two companies have made it a point to assess the competency of the competition over the last three decades of me doing this. And I had an image in my mind of how they solved the design problem I solve in our systems.

Lo and behold I saw exactly what I expected to see. Down to the subassembly level. One always hopes they are competent and able to properly gauge their competition but it’s always reassuring to get actual data to support that premise.

The fact is for an electro optical sensor you can glean a huge amount of information by just reading the one pager marketing pitch if you apply some physics based principles to what you see. And those all panned out! Woohoo!

And finally, what was my impression of their design? I was actually quite impressed I thought it was very well executed abd packaged. I’ve always taught my protégés to not assume your competition is a bunch of clueless morons because they will eventually beat you out on an opportunity capture and does that mean you got beat by a bunch of morons? Practice some Sun Tzu
