And we also shot ourselves in the foot multiple times during the Miss St game. Without the turnovers we win comfortably.

You can't reason with some of these folks, man. We could go undefeated, win the SEC, win a Natty, and they'd still find something to be miserable about

I will say this about Arkansas: I think we can blow them out because their D is legit awful. Even with Patrino's overhaul, it will be difficult for them to prepare for our firepower.

However, their offense has been good, and we have struggled a bit against duel threat QBs. Also, as seen by what happened at UCLA with Penn State: there is always this weird game where teams who lost their coach suddenly look way better. With Arkansas quitting against ND, they might have been done with Pittman and were ready to play for Patrino.

Hope so but people need to temper their expectations imo. I do not expect him to come right back and be the same player until he gets some gametime under his belt and a little more past the mental aspect of cutting without thinking.

Agreed. I think we see him for about 1/3 of the overall game depending on how prepped he is and getting him back to full contact.

However i don’t think Arkansas can slow or stop our offense then again i said they couldn’t last year and they did but we got Joey now so we will do what we want i think against their terrible defense. Vols win 49-35. We get our revenge and our first win over Arkansas in 18 years. You guys thoughts on this game i will hang up and listen.

We need to do the same thing…..get up early and drown them 🌊 the last thing you want to give a team with nothing to lose is hope and confidence.

Would love to see our defense get going and start getting off the field on 3rd down and do better against the run.

Exactly. I think Arkansas is a team that reeks of quit. We just need to push them over the edge early and I think they fold.

Scary game to bet with our D because Arkansas can score and this has huge backdoor potential; we could be up 45-20 and give up a couple meaningless scores late to lose the spread. Hard to see how they stop us though

Its always possible. What i am getting at, is its going to be an epic meltdown with a lot of frustration pointed at the staff if we lose this game and rightly so. With an extra week to prepare, motivation from last year's performance, getting injured players back...again, absolutely no excuse to lose this one.
