What kind of law do you practice? To my knowledge, you can apply for asylum at a port of entry. Trying to sneak in the back door is illegal.

Over harsh immigration enforcement is a product of playing ole with illegal immigrants under the prior administration. That civil unrest in large part is due to the lefts policies on immigration and crime in general. They literally aren't and haven't been an ally to law and order, they have become the party of anarchism.

The immigrants are here for the most part to create better lives for themselves. The economy is fine, no evidence that citizens are being displaced by migrants. I have no problem with enforcing immigration laws, but theres no reason to conclude incompetent bidens negligence in that regard has precipitated some sort of crises. That's just white fear.

Biden was a terrible president. I didnt vote for him, but this is the wrong way to fix bidens mistakes.

The way I look at it is that is tougher and more expensive to fix an issue then it is to create the issue.... So while I don't agree with every method used..I understand that too did something sometimes you gotta go harder to set examples.

I think you're missing the whole point, the reason for allowing those immigrants in the first place. Biden's incompetence allowed others within the party to take advantage. The question that begs asking is why open the borders the way we did with little in the way of checks and vetting those that came in.

If you have no problem enforcing immigration laws then you must also understand, at least to some extent, the need to crack down on illegal immigrants. The left is using this every bit as much as the right is as a wedge. It's not a matter of white gear, it's law and order verses anything goes. Pretty soon Trump will be out of office one day, and the left is going to have to appeal to the middle again, and that's going to be a tough sell.
