But the one you’re referencing wasn’t because of “not calling a timeout”. You realize our offense in probably the faster in the country between plays, right?

That is the play i was talking about but we did not go into hurry up offensse, i just rewatched the play, the announcers were even talking about it as well. it took us 25 seconds to get a play in. Should have called to if didn't have a play in for up tempo. We could have had time for at least two more plays to get in fg range or even a td. But we won anyways. And i am still a supporter of our coach.

And...this one I'll admit is really petty...but geez, I kinda wish he cared more about his appearance on the sideline. The slobb-ish look seems to be getting worse the longer he's here. He looks like a Dad on vacation at the beach who decided not to shave for a week.
(Admittedly not the most important thing, but that job deserves a little more image effort, IMO)

Get with 2025. Comfort tops looks at his age and he is a coach not a doctor or working on wall st.

I disagree, I think he is just really into his job and how he looks is not as important to him..plus he wants to be comfortable and move around and pace At least he reps the orange.. remember Pruitt with no orange in sight in the beginning until people started complaining? And Dooley orange pants? It could be much, much worse

He should always care how he represents the university. That said, I don't think a beard means he looks tacky. I do know a good barber if he wants a tight edge up.

I just know at near the end of regulation he let 30 to 40 seconds run off the clock without calling a time out, if you have it recorded rewatch it. Up tempo had nothing to do with it. The clock was just running and we doing nothing. My only thought was Hype was playing for the field goal with no time left on the clock.

Appearance matters especially when you are in a high profile position like Heup is. Derek Dooley was a horrid coach but always looked like a million bucks i will give him that.

Don’t forget Heupel played for Mike Leach. I think some people are good enough at what they do that appearances seem trivial to them.

you call to and you save 25 seconds, instead of waiting 25 seconds to get the play called in. Just watch the replay if you have it available. And, yes we could have a play in much quicker, I see what you are talking about probably, he let it run down on purpose, which again is bad, get in fg range or score td and you win in regulation.. In ot they are going to get the ball back. Score in regulation and they would not get the ball back. I guess I am saying we had time to score if not for letting that time run offf the clock.
