Agree, which leads to more ebbs and flows during the game. It used to be we would just slowly take over a game. Now, it seems, there are much more ups and downs with momentum throughout the game, I am hoping we get all of our pieces leads to a much more dominating performance. Problems is, our schedule is much more challenging from here in.I believe CJH dictates the defense that we run. When he has a fully capable offense, I think he tells Banks to sell out and take risks. We generated a lot of sacks and turnovers in 2021 and 2022 this way. Right now, we are getting the TFL but not the turnovers due to starting DB's being out. It's risk/reward. We played far more conservative (take away the run) in 23/24 because I believe CJH felt that was the best way for us to win. I think we are giving up more yards and points because CJH believes we can outscore anyone. If we start getting 2+ turnovers a game, watch out. I expect we will against all teams not named Alabama and Florida on our schedules. Those two will play a conservative gameplan to attempt and keep our offense on the sideline.
Getting fired at Ole Miss the way he did made people forget he wasn't all that successful there. That's definitely the reason. He's never really been that great. He sort of lucked his way out of HS and has somehow kept failing upward.
Don't you think if he was good enough they would find a way to utilize him? I think his size really hurts him at the pro level. He's just not that big and not that great at creating separation unless he can just outrun someone.I know it’s tough for boom or bust wide receivers in the nfl but man Hyatt 3 years in and getting no traction at all. Might need to seak a trade to a team that’s committed to utilizing him or his nfl career might end up short lived and non-existent.
hate to "like" that comment, but it's probably true. Sad.That situation is so weird. Why would he go after a 69-year-old truck driver? And there is video of him doing it. It's hard to dispute that. Why was he doing wind sprints behind a bar? It seems like this guy is using alcohol to mask deep emotional issues.
I guess I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt and hoping he is indeed good enough.Don't you think if he was good enough they would find a way to utilize him? I mean if it’s all based on that one video then that’s not really fair as he was preparing to catch a pass and by time it was obvious dart was not going to the defenders had already closed in on him. He went to UT so surely he knows blocking is a prerequisite to making the field.Fans on Twitter accusing Hyatt of not blocking and just generally that he’s checked out. I hope he gets a 2nd chance somewhere eventually.
ND ain’t losing to ncsu. Wolfpack are not good. Some nice looking games this weekend.
1 Ohio State at 17 Illinois
8 Bama at 14 Missouri
7 Indiana at 3 Oregon
6 Oklahoma vs Texas (might be the upset special)
NC State at 16 Notre Dame (also potential upset alert)
Florida at 5 Texas A&M
10 Georgia at Auburn
15 Michigan at USC
South Carolina at 11 LSU
I don't know how the odds will be setup...but I'd take Colorado over Iowa State and USC over Michigan right now for the best shots at Unranked beating ranked.
I'm not confident in OU getting upset by Texas, its a game where ranking never matters. Both teams want that one...and I think OU defense is better than Florida's. Notre Dame bias is big time and they're getting so much credit for losing at Miami and to A&M in FG goal games. Boise State shot themselves in the foot big time, 4 turnovers and 13 penalties....I just don't think the Irish are very good and haven't really seen them look great except against Arkansas who basically quit.
He had a situation in college where he was accused of SA but prosecutors refused to press charges. I think it was said he was struggling with alcohol even then. The article I read said that he was genuinely shocked that he had been stabbed. Sounds like accountability he's never had to face coming home to roost. I hope he grows from it. That's what is supposed to happen. It's why we all face trials.hate to "like" that comment, but it's probably true. Sad.
