Exactly. And that says it all about how bad Penn State is and how badly they are coached. How in the world do you let a string bean like Nico truck you for 128 yards and not spy him? That should never happen.
I think I read that he told guys if they dont want to be there then leave. Not only is it ironic for obvious reasons, but it looked more to me like they didnt exactly cause them to play better and win yesterday but that him running wild on psu was the only real reason lolNico has the tools to be a great QB on the field and his instant decision making should get better. I just don't think he is a leader that makes players around him better and want to play harder. He seems like a good kid who is a little aloof. I was pulling for him yesterday but I just don't think he will ever become a leader with the IT factor.
We're just fans on a message board..its ok for us to hold grudgesWhy was starting another Nico thread important?
I'll bite though this belongs under the NCAA board and downgraded.
I'm not sure why people continue to have strong feelings. I would think some of the stench would've worn off my now.
Good upset win to show his dual threat ability. Generally, 166 yards passing is not going to get it done at a high level.
No. This is just wrong. There is nothing for the fanbase to atone for. Those responsible were punished and now dead. Are you and I responsible for all the dumb crimes our athletes have committed over the years? Are Gator fans responsible for Aaron Hernandez??? Nah. Your take is just dumb. SorryPenn State fanbase has never atoned for their defense of Paterno and his inaction against Sandusky. Multiple PSU criminal convictions and over 100 million in civil settlements and that fanbase rallied around the flag. That’s hard to forget. Hiring a jerkface like James Franklin isn’t going to speed up that process. Good for Nico, he played well. His mistake of seeking more money has worked out well for us thus far.
