Watching the Alabama vs Vandy yesterday and am amazed at the changes in Vandy's play. How competitive they are on both sides of the ball is something we haven't seen for a long time. Wondering is this just a one-off year or are they actually building something sustainable for a few years. As much as I hate to say it, kind of glad Pavia got put back in place a little, reminiscent of the old Greek mythology classes where Hubris gets it's just desserts.

They are good but have a lot of flaws. I was rooting for them to beat bama lol

I saw in another thread that their team is somewhere around 60% seniors/graduates. If I remember that correctly, I'll take the "one-off" scenario until proven otherwise.

IMO this is why:

Vanderbilt has the oldest roster in the SEC, with 26 graduate players and over 50 additional upperclassmen, while Tennessee has the youngest roster, with approximately 50% of their team being freshmen as of October 2025.
Here is a breakdown of the roster seniority for the two teams mentioned:
Vanderbilt: Has the oldest roster in the SEC, with a large number of experienced players, including 26 graduate players and more than 50 other upperclassmen.
Tennessee: Features the youngest roster in the SEC, with close to 50% of the team consisting of freshmen.
