Maybe. I keep thinking "these aren't the good teams this year" but then I look around and I can't figure out who to replace them with. People saying that Kiffin should just cruise along for the rest of his life being mediocre, no expectations, blah blah, and now he's ranked #4. That kinda stuff will get you in trouble.

No one with brain cells thinks that Kiffin winning at a 70-75% clip at a school with a 54% all time win percentage is “mediocre”….

I think in this new day and age of college football with NIL and portal, some blue blood programs will falter and some new programs that historically suck will slingshot up.

The knock on ole Miss was recruiting. Well they have nullified that with investment in NIL and the staff to go out and get guys in the portal.

And in the playoff era, a 9-3 SEC team will always be on the bubble for playoff spot with 10-2 most likely assured a spot. That’s Kiffin’s average at Ole Miss.
