They're better this year for sure. They just don't have the horses to handle the top half of the SEC for the entirety of the game. By the time they get to us they will be limping to a bowl game with a win against Kentucky and TexasProbably just their way of getting back at Vandy and their faithful for storming the field last year. An exclamation point. Vandy played a great game (for a half). They are still someone to contend with this year.
Bama, Georgia and Miami all bounced the right way this week. Keeps me from being a degenerate, it could’ve gone the other way just as easily. But that’s why I do it. It keeps me watching and it makes it exciting. It sure was cheap.. and I'm a lot poorer for it as I would've won a 6 game parlay had Vandy lost by <12.5
It wasn’t the horses today. It was Pavia a bumbling and throwing an interception in the red zone. They're better this year for sure. Some pollsters don’t even look at the scores apparently since that girl moved Florida up 2 spots after losing to USFScore differential is one of the tiebreaks in SEC standings. Therefore, you should never EVER let off the gas in an SEC game.
Plus, the pollsters don't watch the games and only look at the scores.
Not cheap. Vandy ran it's mouth. They FA'd and then FO'dThat was a cheap, low class TD that Alabama laid on Vandy with 17 seconds left. It padded the score, but Vandy went toe to toe with them at their house today. That game was a lot closer than the score indicates.
I’m feeling better about the Vols going down there now. I felt like that would be a sure loss. I think we could steal one down there now.
