I’m not sure State is a good team, are they better than last year ? Yes but i don’t think they will make a bowl but they can get 5 wins and 5-7 is a definite improvement from 2–10.

A&M looks pretty solid. I thought people were sleeping on them in the preseason. They have a good coach Elko an upgrade over Jimbo and they have talent on that roster. I wouldn’t be shocked if they made it to the SEC title game.

A&M is greatly improved on defense the past 2 games. Gave up about 160 to Auburn and 219 so far to State.

This is also true. We made them believe. Don’t muff that punt, drive down, score, then stop em again and score to go up 14-0 and get out on them fast we likely would’ve blown them out. Tennessee’s offense is predicated on coming out guns blazing and getting up by multiple scores before you even have a chance to blink. We did our fair share to let em hang around.

We definitely beat Arkansas last year with Joey at QB. Joey def wouldn’t run out of bounds on the last play of the game.

I’m with you—Elko is a good coach and I thought he’d do well there or at least stop the bleeding caused by Jimbo. They were +1700 odds in July to win the SEC and I put a little money on them. I thought that was good odds for a talented team and a good coach.

You have to be concerned about our defense against pretty much anyone .... but Arkansas is bad. We will beat them something like 49-27.

You also have to be concerned about our road games against pretty much anyone. Florida is probably a toss-up.

State has played the 106th ranked Strength of Schedule to this date. From today’s date until the end of season, they have the 1st ranked SOS.

Do not be alarmed if State ends up sub .500 for the year.

Aggies are going to be one of those teams bunched up around the playoffs at the end of the season. It's going to be a huge controversy, because every team can't get in, and the committee is going to have to make decisions based on schedules and win margins.
