In this day and age it all matters. If we’re smart we will pile on the points when we get the chance. Bama is no different. If you’re in the SEC the chances are good you’re losing a few games. You have to look like a powerhouse any chance you get.

Vandy screwed you by calling timeouts with zero chance of winning. At best they get the ball back with 20 seconds and down 2 scores. Made zero sense. Then of course they couldn’t stop a simple run.

Score differential is one of the tiebreaks in SEC standings. Therefore, you should never EVER let off the gas in an SEC game.

Plus, the pollsters don't watch the games and only look at the scores.
