For sure. My takeaway from that game is not that Vanderbilt is good, I still think 6 wins is their ceiling. Alabama just isn’t that good. Simpson can sling it but he’s a lot like Tyler Bray, he’ll throw some horrible picks. Their defense is what surprised me. They took 5-10 yard punches all day long. It looked a lot like our defense really. Just not very crisp. Soft in some areas. Big drop off from Sabans defense.

Bama has all the SEC games they lost last year at home. It will be interesting to see how Tennessee and Oklahoma favors. I think it will be really close in the Tennessee game. Thats a coin flip. I dont think Oklahoma stands a chance.

Not with our shoddy defense we won’t. Remember this too we won’t get any calls down there the refs will screw us. We will have to play a flawless game to have a chance cause Simpson will torch our secondary. I still got us going 9-3 5-3 in league play and i feel pretty confident about that.

Bama's defense didn't look dominant ever but definitely not in the first half. Their offensive line let Simpson get sacked way too much. Its going to be a dog fight in that S-Hole but I think Tennessee can pull out the Dub.

Probably not. Even as meh as he did at the end of the game, they’re out of this one even more without him and with the backup…that’s just “Bama focuses on defending the run all game and dares the other team to pass.”

Pavia has never been a good QB. People mistake his “gutsyness” for being good.

Weird take. He’s really been taking care of the football this year. I think the pressure of being top-20 really got to him. Their OC Tim Beck did him no favors. He really put the ball on his receivers multiple times in the second half. That drop on the first drive of the second half was massive. Saying Pavia isn’t a good QB is massively stupid.

You realize this was the first decent team Pavia has played on the season correct? And he stunk. lol If you like the way Pavia plays the game, that’s one thing, but dude has never and will never be a good QB.

Saying a preseason top-15 USC team isn't a decent team is pretty lazy. Again. Pavia wasn't great, but saying he stunk is a bit much. If Junior Sherrill makes that catch that Pavia put on his face-mask, I think Vandy wins the game.
