They are both very good, maybe even elite QBs. Pavia gets more thunder because of last season, he is doing it at Vandy (which in itself is just very unexpected), and he isn’t bashful about letting everyone know he is very good. Joey on the other hand, while confident, doesn’t seem to be arrogant and boastful at all about being a great QB. He was unexpected this season and doesn’t try to grab attention off of the field, so he is much more under the radar. I like Joey though. He is a hell of a QB!But Pavia gets all the thunder and I hate it because orange glasses aside, I do think Joey is the better story.
Agree on all fronts. Our defense is young too, but I mostly think our woes there are due to slow LB play and Bank’s coaching. If we had last year’s defense, we’d arguably be the SEC favorite, but we never seem to have a balanced team. We don’t have as much depth as ya’ll but we definitely can make some noise going forward (hopefully).I agree, our defense is young and inexperienced and it is showing. That combined with problems on our o-line is going to be trouble. It sounds crazy to say, but six of our remaining seven games are against teams that can play with and possibly beat us if they play well, especially if our defense doesn’t get things figured out. They don’t have to be at the level of our 21 and 22 defense’s, but they have got to play much better. It’s going to be interesting for both of our teams going forward, but I sincerely believe that both UGA and TN are capable of making some big post season noise if we have a little of the right type of luck when needed.![]()
Our offense doesn’t worry me. Our defense on the other hand….
