Just stay on porches and you should be fine. BTW, no way LNS is ready by Feb 26. Looks more like Feb 27. As Volquest said, they will have a couple of new dorms built before they finish LNS. View attachment 778368
So not fully ready by the home opener, but should be ready by the SEC home opener? I'm having a hard time understanding why it's taking almost two full calendar years to renovate the park..... is it the site footprint? Something else?

Unless something drastically changes, I just don’t see how they will finish as they are still doing steel work but hope I’m mistaken. Certainly challenges with footprint and utilities but I chalk it up to lack of priority or sense of urgency by whomever is managing the project.

So lack of urgency by the Athletic Department or by the construction company?

That is just nuts. Imagine going back in time and explaining this to a Tennessee baseball fan back in 2017, they wouldn’t believe you.
I have to remind people that when Kirby committed they had not been to SEC tournament and definitely not NCAA CWS in 14 years. I tried to get him to go to both in HS and he said when I go I will be in uniform. I laughed and said good luck. He accomplished both and the rest is history.

Great story! Thank you for raising a fine young man.

Fun game in Chattanooga. Kind of frustrating that the PA guy never announced pitching changes, so we had to deduce who was on the mound at any given time. Lots of good bats. Manny and Newstrom took a beating with HBPs (and Newy got shook up sliding into third at one point), but it appears they came out okay. Can’t wait til we’re watching these guys 4x a week again.
