CJH record vs other coaches

You could pick any number besides 93 games and make it tell a different story. Coaches’ greatness or failure is determined by their careers in totality, not the first X number of games
You don't understand the context. Heupel has a lifetime total of 93 games. To fairly compare him with other coaches, you go with their first 93 games as well.

It wasn't a random number pulled out of a hat. And you really should've known to check that first, before typing. Pretty obvious possibility.

Go Vols!

The number is still random. You could’ve done a list after every 10 games and it would change every time

Nope, as is the case on every Southern football board, the home team is as pure as the wind driven snow and everyone else is biased against the home team. All the other teams are cheaters but all outsiders conspire together against the home team.

Facts. I am sorry I forgot this well known fact and besmirched our beloved VOLS. I am a little disappointed in myself to be honest.

I think it's just such a different era at this point that it's really incomparable. CFB pre and post integration are almost 2 different sports. There probably should be two sets of records.
With that logic you can’t put Bear Bryant at 2 then.

I didn't make a ranking, Bear won 3 natties after universal integration and 3 before though and he's actually a great example of what I am talking about, he had to make alot of adjustments to succeed in the new world integration created. The Bammers were 100% ready to push him out circa 1969-70.
