Unlike Bama, Florida, and others places, I don't think living people get statues...as I type this I realize Condredge has a statue, but I think his is more around the social impact he had than on the sport only.

Fulmer had no impact socially. He only made the great state of TN and its civilians have a better child hood.

Right. He’s welcome to visit any time, but I don’t need to idolize someone who is too lazy to get escorted to campus, himself.

Tell that to all the victims of his football players. Fulmer started losing because he didn’t discipline his team. Not because he forgot how to coach or recruit.

My 10 year old self got to learn what rape was thanks to Nilo Sylvan being in the news.

If we had time machines, I would go back and convince Phil to step aside sometime around 02 or 03 and completely talk him out of being AD...although him being AD and hiring Pruitt did set off the chain of dominoes that resulted in the major house cleaning and landing us Danny White and Josh Heupel.

So maybe Phil being AD wasnt all bad.

The woman dropped the charges. He actually was innocent.

Then everyone is guilty in your opinion. I have no need for folks like that. He was innocent and that happened during the good years. Yoir point was he lost control. Hell we still had Peyton then tee after that.

Then Saban and Smart are terrible coaches who never had control. So the greatest coach ever was woody Woofenhoffer. Never had an issue with his players. I got ya. Well Clark Lea maybe your man then.

Lester McClain, Tee Martin, and Condredge are all alive today. Of the four Trailblazer statues, only Jackie Walker has passed.

And at least one Smokey is still alive. I think maybe three or more are, including retired Smokeys, and future ones.

So I don't think that's really a rule.

Name the coach with a winning program that has been composed of nothing but Saints over the course of their careers?

Saban had players mug another student on campus for crying out loud.

Everyone wants their team’s roster to be full of nice law abiding, god fearing young men, but the reality is there are 85 boys who’s frontal lobes aren’t quite developed (and then they knock them around playing a physical sport in which aggression is part of the game). Every program is gonna have a few incidences of law breakers.

Fulmer usually dismissed players pretty quickly for serious offenses.
