According to Baseball Reference, there are 23,615 MLB players in their historical records dating back approximately 150 years. Excluding the temporary minor league stadiums being used while permanent ones are constructed, the lowest maximum capacity stadium in the majors is Progressive Field listed at 34,830. That means you could put every major leaguer throughout the course of history in the smallest MLB stadium and it would still be approximately one-third short of its max capacity 🤯
