I have a wooden deck

I have a wooden deck about 35' off of my house in the backyard. Every night, when I open my back door, I can hear something run across it. I can't figure out what it is. I was thinking a little dang rat or something, but I believe street dog would have gotten it if it was a rat or a bunny or something.

I don't smell a skunk, but I know one lives around here. I just can't imagine what it could be since street dog doesn't chase after it. For that reason I believe it is either a North American Chupacabra or one of @Weezer 's orphaned baby yetis. I think I'll set up a trail cam and see what it is.

It has to be a decent size to make the sounds it makes when it's running. . . I just can't figure out why street dog doesn't hunt it down. It's out there every night too, not just some random night I heard it.

Cause it scurries under that deck where it lives...is this deck reasonably close to the ground? My critter like this used to be a bunny. Chewed a perfect circle to come and go in my lattice.

Y’all need to be paying attention to my Golden Eagles of TTU. The Fightin’ Da’Ricks are 4-0 and straight murdering fools.

They are legit......I can see a semi-final run in the playoffs for them.
Happy for them...... one of the "old" OVC schools I don't detest.
