Bottom line up front: I think we win this game.

What worries me is Petrino is now a wild card with a week to plan. He may not be a faithful man but he is a smart coach that took Arkansas to heights they have not seen. It’s possible he got Pittman fired with promises to the AD and boosters he can do it again.

Not a coincidence they cut bait early on their DC ahead of this matchup. Likely because he is seeing something schematically he needs/wants changed. You can do a lot with two weeks to prepare.

We know they can score. We know we can score right there with them. The delta here is they have tape on us as is. We only have tape on their offense, not what Petrino plans to without Pittman on D (and maybe offense too).

OR, we blow their pork butts out of Neyland and make it look easy!

Agreed. If he doesn’t have the team it will be ugly.

If he does it could be an exciting one.

We are desperate to win something. We haven't made the SEC title game in 18 years. Haven't won the SEC title in 27 years. We got thoroughly spanked in a playoff game last year. If the Arkansas ****en Razorbacks somehow are possibly a trap game, then we aren't headed anywhere anyways.

No way this is a trap game. I think the firing of Pittman, the defensive coordinator and the hiring of Petrino at the very least has the added attention of Heupel and the staff. I suspect they will get the attention of the players as well if they didn't already have it.

They better after last year. That was a rough one.

I think Heupel has this team’s full attention. We’ve got levels to go as a team. Using the bye to get healthy but also 🔒 into the details as we enter this stretch.

Last year was a crappy feeling and I know the locker room hasn’t forgotten the embarrassment of last year. We need to score 40+ and keep the pedal down all game.

There's some current 3 star WR's in High School that could get open in Arky's secondary. Not close.

Gotta come out and be aggressive and clean. Their Defense might be as bad as UABs

Certainly not a trap game given there is a revenge factor. I think with a new coach they'll have a little more juice then they would have. Their defense is just so bad, I don't see a way they keep up. I think we win by 17-21 points.

Just don't run out of bounds on the last second play to win with time running out.
