Im pretty sure Pink Floyd is the only reason that we are still allies with the Brits. DSOTM is going through its 11teenth resurgence right now with my daughters generation and is on the charts again. Still one of the 10 best selling albums of all time.

I know theres a couple other PF guys on here...Dave Gilmour just did his best interview ever recently with Rick Beato. I posted the 1st one here a year or 2 ago. Dave invited Rick into his home studio for the 2nd one and i think its even better than the first. They discuss way more PF instead of his solo stuff. Dave plays a lot of riffs and solos from their most famous tracks and talks about where and how they were recorded using what equipment etc. Sadly I dont play guitar but for anyone who does it must be incredible...Rick is an incredible musician and producer in his own right. Love the guy. Anyway, ill go find that video and link it here if anyone wants to watch. Dave has done very few interviews more than a couple minutes and never embraced anyone like he has Rick as a fellow music nerd.

Hubbs just said the Giants MLB are talking to Tony V and have genuine interest. Said at this point he does not think that he leaves Knoxville. He just landed the #1 recruiting class again IIRC...but with the scholarship reductions / no more partial scholarship rules and his recent Title I can see him leaving being a possibility. Actual scholarships.increased a bit under the new rules, but not being able to split partial rides (and make up for it with NIL) the amount of good ball players each team can keep will be reduced. Gonna make it harder to have a dynasty...same way football NIL did to Saban. Who chose to retire.

there is a guy I argued with in the RF that says DG solo on Comfortably Numb was played by a studio player..I tried to talk some sense into him, but he was adament, and said all musicians lie, while taking something he heard as truth. You cant mimic style.

I saw something about this, if it happens TV would be only the second college head coach to ever jump to MLB managers position and the 1st to do it with zero MLB experience. IMO I think is just a bunch of wild speculation.

Dave talks about those 2 solos from CN in this interview. Says he plays one of them differently at every live show except for a couple cues within them for the rest of the band. Explains why as well.

Nobody has Gilmours tone. Best tone of any guitarist I have ever heard...and patience in his playing. His timing, tone etc is unmistakable even to people like me who have never played. When you hear a song come on with him playing you instantly know its DG.

Pavia can't play forever. Not that their coach hasnt done a good job there with the whole team...he has. Seems like a good coach. But Vandy isnt gonna have the talent every year to make noise in the SEC. They just arent. When Pavias gone they will lose 2 or 3 more games per season IMO.

Remember that we spotted them the 1st kickoff return TD in the CJH era, Nico went 3 and out, and they scored again to make it 14-0 AT Vandy last year. Then Nicos raggedy butt proceeded to have his best game as a VOL and throw for 4TDs...Nico only threw for 5 total TDs versus the other SEVEN SEC teams...and we blew vandy out in Neyland West. I think we beat Vandy down this season in Neyland. Regardless of our record at that point. We will either be trying to impress the playoff committee OR have 3 losses and in our seniors last game. Either way I think we keep our foot on the gas and blow them out by 2TDs or more at home

I agree. They play disciplined, hard nosed football on defense. They are also the only team in the entire SEC right now besides UGA with a dominant running game. We will have to play disciplined defense, shut down the run, and crush Pavia in his last college game to win this year.

The good thing is I believe we are extremely well equipped to do just that when Hobbs and Moi are back at DT. We havent looked good vs the run this season because those guys were missing...yet we still are at the top of the SEC in TFLs. We will crush their souls in Neyland. Nobody is gonna beat us in Neyland this year unless Oklahoma has their QB back and he has the game of his life somehow against us. I just dont see it. Not at home in what is probably a night game etc. I think Vandy is gonna get humbled this weekend at Bama. They have a couple more tough games as well before they play us. Cant wait to end Pavias college career with a crushing defeat...for all that smack he talks.

Speakimg of Vandy...theres some crazy stats in this video. Vandy is 16th nationally in plays over 4o yards? Vandy throws for 300 a game like we do? Crazy stuff man.

Also Brooks begs our forgiveness for his OPI miscall last week. Lmao. Vols fans put the fear in him this week 😆
