Cracker Barrel has fallen

I have never been to one, but I am curious .... Do they specialize in anything? What are the best things to order on their menu?
No, just a chain country style restaurant.

Depends on what you like. I like the chicken fried chicken, Which is Fried chicken with sawmill gravy. That with dumplings and mashed potatoes for sides will put you in a nice afternoon coma.

I think CB is a decent place to eat, but it isn't anything that you would actually make a plan to go eat.

Not to Hijack the CB thread, but we were in Johnson city this last weekend playing ball. On our way up we stopped around Greenville to eat and found a little place called " Tennessee Jacks on the HWY". Really good Steak, Catfish, and Shrimp at a decent enough cost. I would definitely recommend.

But aren't they just acting in concert with the overarching vision the CEO set forth? Weren't they just attempting to deliver the product she wanted?

I understand letting Prophet go, but you can't stop there, the CEO failed miserably

Yeah, same CEO that got rid of breakfast pork chop and replaced it with plant based meat

Same one who replaced Lima Beans with quinoa

Same one who wanted to make the veggies vegan friendly

Yes, she should have been canned weeks ago

As I recall, their new CEO is a leftist loon, so no surprise that they hired a SF firm. The CEO should have been terminated a couple months ago.

It used to be their hash brown casserole (at least to me it was).
Uncle Herschel‘s Favorite breakfast has always been popular.
And when I was young; they used to have a cheese and cracker snack.
It was saltine crackers with cheddar cheese, a sweet pickle slice, and mustard making four little cracker sandwiches. I still make my own at home all the time.

Enough with all that wasted info. What's their logo look like?

lol. Has nothing to do with the issue discussed here

Bad location but this is the location (along with the Lakeland one 8 miles up I-40) that couldn't execute basic restaurant blocking and tackling that I referenced several times in this thread....

Largely agree but consistently failing to execute is a leadership issue....
Fair. But you don't become a restaurant any big org wants to close bc even a few years of losing money. Horrible look. My guess is that location has been bleeding money for a minimum 5 years and probably closer to ten.

Yes, that one has really struggled for a while now...

But nothing like going outside there after church, seeing the giant Bellevue crosses on the other side of the interstate all while sitting on the Pride rocking chairs...

Suspect one near Hacks Cross may be next
