I don’t think Tony wants the headache of the MLB gig. A bunch of overpaid cry babies that won’t even hustle out a ground ball. I don’t think the majors could handle him honestly but that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♂️
I mean, he’s with a bunch of underpaid cry baby fans now.

Isn't the goal for any college coach in the long run is to be considered for it?
I’d be surprised if he made the leap from college straight to a manager’s chair in MLB. Anyone know the last time that happened? Nothing comes to mind. I would think teams would insist he serve as a bench coach or manage in the minors first

Vitello, Jarrett and the dude in Nashville with a stick up his @$$, would be the three I think would be considered.
Am I missing anyone?
Did Pat Murphy leave ASU to be a manager or was he a bench coach first?

Worked in Padres Organization first then got hired as a bench coach by Counsel while he was manager of Brewers .. remember Murphy was promoted to interim Manager of Padres a few years ago before getting replaced in off season.

Pat Murphy left ASU in 2009. It was 15 years before he got a managerial gig in MLB

Well, at any rate I hope whatever TV does, if offered, does what's best for him
and I will give him my best wishes in all he does. But I feel like I hope he stays at UT until he quits or retires on his own terms. He's great for UT Sports.

CTV isn't going anywhere, yet... Although there will probably be a day he believes he has done all he can at Tennessee..

Completely off topic, but have you guys watched any film or highlights of Tennessee football commit Legend Bey?
Holy 💩 that kid is on another level!
I saw a picture of him on Facebook Wednesday w/no information on him.
I thought it was strange to go all out but no info on him. Cool name too.

I have a good friend that is a very close personal friend of Tony V. He says he isn't going anywhere right now. He said he wouldn't go to San Francisco. Just passing this along.....

That's great. I don't want him going anywhere but staying put w/UT baseball.

I didn’t buy it to begin with.
He was enjoying a trip to San Fran, to watch Gilbert, Beck and Dolly play and nothing more.
I have no doubt that he an Posey “talked”, I wouldn’t expect two baseball guys not to.
