President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

So because we didn't use nuclear weapons in those two instances, you think there's a self-imposed upper limit how the United States government will respond if attacked?

Some bizarre logic, but sure, ok, we won't nuke anyone on Qatar's behalf, you prepared to send US troops into Qatar to defend them from a conventional attack?

It's bizarre logic on your part to jump to nuclear war over a security agreement with Qatar when we have them with dozens of other countries not including NATO.

We have defense agreements with over 50 different countries not including NATO countries.
so then you agree, we aren't just protecting our base in the area?

I have yet to find any agreement with Qatar specifying our participation in the defense of their nation outside of dealing with ISIS. I have been able to find multiple deals regarding the air base, logistical supply, and us supplying them arms. if you can point me to an actual agreement with them I would appreciate it.

I didn't jump to nuclear war, I said there was no upper limit to the possible response by the US government if there is a perceived threat to the country; and I'm correct.

That protection whether you want to admit it or not, trump just gave to Qatar as well.

It's funny to have watched you argue against any obligation to Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum for literal years, and accept a blanket 'Article 5' projection for Qatar in an Executive Order.

I didn't say that was the sole reason but if you think we wouldn't have helped defend Qatar from an attack prior to this EO you're crazy.

And we have no obligation under this EO to use military force.

Trump got that much money from Qatar. The Department of War got a plane gifted to it.

Case closed find another lie
Again, your ignorance is showing. Seriously... are you a bot wasting my time?

This is naked corruption.

Planned Future Ownership

The arrangement includes a controversial post-presidency transfer: Shortly before Trump leaves office in January 2029, ownership will shift to the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation, a nonprofit entity established to house his administration's archives and artifacts. This would make the plane a permanent exhibit or asset for the library, similar to how other presidential libraries display historical items. Trump has stated he has "no plans to keep it for personal use" after leaving office and would not fly it personally then, emphasizing it's for the nation.

This transfer was deemed "legally permissible" in a May 2025 memo from Attorney General Pam Bondi (a former Qatar lobbyist) and White House Counsel David Warrington, arguing it avoids violating the Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause (which prohibits presidents from accepting foreign gifts without congressional consent) because the initial gift is to the U.S. government, not Trump individually.

Still wasn’t giving to Trump. It was given to the Department of War. You said Trump was given 400 Million which is a lie

Weaponizing every part of the government and breaking laws left and right.

There are regular posters in the PF who actually support this insane bullsh!t.

And even more who recognize how dangerous and wrong it is but choose to sit idly by because trump does a couple of things they agree with.

It's truly a national disgrace.
