Mccoy is the closest thing we have to a "lock" as a 1st round pick. Every single mock I have seen has him going in the 1st while taking the injury into account. The only way he plays himself out of that discussion is if he comes back and just isnt the same. He could shut it down and coast to April knowing he will be a 1st rounder. He really has everything to lose and not much gain. I think it kinda speaks to his character and love for his teammates/coaches to even attempt to play this year.

A QB can also throw 0 picks, while having thrown 5 balls right into defenders' hands, with 3 of them being dropped and 2 being tip drilled for TDs. Statistically, good game. In reality, an awful performance.

Which is why most never understand grades. They don't watch and grade every single play. Just focus on old school box stats.

In short, there's very good reason every NFL franchise uses PFF and works closely with them in various capacities. And fans keep losing their minds over their outputs.

My gripe is PFF rewards players that play less snaps. Bolton was our 2nd highest graded LB with 8 snaps…

If MSU ran for all 8 of those and the DL made the play how do you grade that?

Now Henderson was a beast in college. He was a really good pro, but great college player. Haynesworth was a great pro, but good college player.

Henderson & Haynesworth are probably the 2 best DTs to play here - and they played on the same line.

That’s a ridiculously high standard.

SDE - ‘83 Reggie White
DT - ‘00 John Henderson
DT - ‘01 Albert Haynesworth
LEO - ‘97 Leonard Little

Anything short of THAT isn’t up to standard! :/
