Exactly. The Palestinians inside Israel are peaceful. The violent Pales outside bring the heat on themselves.Dude, seriously? Different governments, very different. Inside Israel is civil government. In the occupied territories it's military rule with very little in the way of rights for the occupied.

Apparently the last several times it was explained didn't stick. Israel controls imports, exports, airspace, offshore resources, movement of people, etc. Funny how those who cite Gaza's lack of economic development don't mention Israel's blockade and destruction of infrastructure there.
There's plenty on the web about the subject. Here's one article:

Gaza Strip explained: Who controls it and what to know
The Hamas attack that has killed hundreds was launched from one of the most densely populated and impoverished strips of land in the world.www.nbcnews.com
Expecting the UN to oversee peace between Israel and its neighbors is about as good of an idea as hiring Colonel Sanders to manage you egg laying chicken coup. That would be pretty unworkable in detail but the gist is good. Workshops, working visits to see best practices applied, etc. would be helpful. Important also are a good constitution and no domination by foreign powers. Don't forget that Gaza is part of Palestine so the rest should be included in the plan. It sounds like a good project for the UN.
Do you think those projects had a noticeable affect on Gaza's economy? More than Israel's blockade, destruction of their airport, etc?Do you deny that Hamas took a large percentage of the aid they were sent and used to build rockets and dig tunnels instead of actually improving them the lives of the Gazans? Whose fault would that be?
I don't think that is entirely true. Surveys of Palestinian-Israeli citizens shows a high degree of dissatisfaction with expression of rights. Legally, those righs exist but in practice there is a disparity (according to the Pal-Is citizens). There are over 2 million Arab/Palestinian citizens of Israel living peacefully with the same rights as Jewish citizens.
Maybe you should wait for acid to wear off before posting more.Exactly. The Palestinians inside Israel are peaceful. The violent Pales outside bring the heat on themselves.
If they were peaceful, would they not be have the same opportunity as Pales in Israel? Even with the issues the Pales experience inside Israel.
Do you blame all Americans for our bad options here, or is it fair to recognize that money and funding have created our ****** two-option system? When do the people of Gaza bear some responsibility for their own situation or do we continue in perpetuity to excuse their failure to form a peaceful government? Children don't get to govern themselves and yet people want to continue to treat them like helpless children.

Yes, of course, that's very thoughtful of the Israelis. Tying an arm and a leg behind their back and putting a sack over their head is for their own good. Pity they can't do well in the triple jump all tied up like that.Of course Israel controls all of that stuff because the people of Gaza have not been able to do so. Just imagine what weaponry would be imported had Israel not had control, again children cannot govern themselves. They have to show that they are responsible enough to make decisions. You treat Gazites as children, they will continue to act like children.

There are multiple elements at fault here. Boiling it down to "bad Gaza people" is pants-on-head retarded, especially given 1) how Israel was founded, 2) what Israel is doing in the West Bank (which doesn't have Gazans and which people with one-track minds I guess just forget exists), and 3) exactly how Netanyahu admits spending tens of millions to install a government that opens the door for him to use hostility.
Put on the big boy pants and turn on your brain.
This is hilariously ironic- never read a history book?I'm wearing my big boy pants, that's why I don't make excuses for a people who never have had the intention of living peacefully with their neighbor. It's time you open your eyes to the facts.
