Watch "Man of Steel" or " Batman vs Superman" with Henry Caville as Superman. Those movies are very well made, linear, accurate, really good movies. The new Superman is not just bad it is terrible. Superman has a stupid Superdog that doesnt even listen lol. Its computer generated they didnt even use a real dog. Hahaha. This is soooo bad

SSC and I watched it the other night. Other than the language you pointed out, I didn't think it was that bad. It was a pretty good representation of Superman in the modern digital age.

The dog was a bit much, but the ending made it make sense. Not sure how I'm feeling about drunk sorority Supergirl though. But apparently they already have filming concluded on that one. It'll be an interesting twist on the classic "heroine" though.

It does leave some to be desired, but it wasn't the flat fail that Superman Returns was.

I never checked out Warhammer but their mechs and stuff were cool. Hope they do it right. Transformers and GI joes were my favorite toys as a kid AND the 2 best cartoons that came on everyday after school. Loved them both as a boy.

Their movies sucked IMO. Didnt like any of them. They left the source material and made Bumblebee a freaking Camaro for Petes sake. Unforgivable trespass all by itself. Then they picked gay looking actors like the Fast Furious bullcrap. Pretty trash IMO when they had the best source material ever. They had way too much human content in Transformers altogether. They could have made the movies with only NPC humans like the cartoons. Who gives a crap about humans in a world with huge robot aliens?!? Nobody. Thats who.

From what little I have seen of Warhammer stuff it seems darker like Witcher was originally supposed to be. Hope they keep it dark and manly and dont add a bunch of human drama nonsense. Arent Warhammer mechs each piloted by humans or am i wrong about that? I get there will be humans but hope they dont sissy it up for little kids or hoping chicks will like it. Warhammer is a guys thing and nerd adjacent at a minimum. Hope they keep it that way.

I havent seen Superman returns. The previews looked bad. Watch "Man of Steel" or "Batman v Superman" while the new one is fresh in your mind. See if that changes your opinion of that garbage I watched last night 😆. In fairness, I am a big Henry as Superman fan. I thought that movie was terrible though...and like you said in a movie clearly made for 8 year olds, even in the last 3 minutes of the movie Supergirl shows up "drunk" drops a 4 letter word for no reason whatsoever in a kids movie...and the new Superman says " yeah, she loves to go party on planets with red suns to get drunk. You see, we cant get drunk with a yellow sun."

The real Superman would never get drunk. He doesn't curse OR kill anyone unless he absolutely has to. Thats why when General Zod literally makes Superman kill him...he screams in pain/frustration afterwards. He isnt the normal stereotype superhero with character flaws/internal conflict. He is raised in church in Kansas man. Thats what makes him different.

Wanna talk about how Supermans Dad cries not once...but twice in the new movie? Lmao. His mom has a fake Georgia deep south drawl but shes from Kansas ...its so bad man. Its OK that you see it differently though GV. I also think its very possible that Superman Returms is worse 😆 the new movie is made for kids and i get that...the dozen 4 letter words shouldn't be there then. They tried to make it appeal to literally everyone and it falls flat IMO.

Former Panthers WR and Pro Bowl WR Steve Smith (#89) is hosting the NFL Gameday show on the NFL Network right now. Its never ending highlights from every current NFL game in progress. They flip from game to game every minute or 2 for highlights. Smith is hilarious because he will talk straight trash. He was killing Jerry Jeudy (former Bama WR) a minute ago. Hes so funny man

If he really has creative control I am excited.

I know it's going to be Bolter Porn, but I really wish they would introduce the universe with someone else besides the smurfs.

Like include them, but let me be the semi mythical figures they should be instead of trying to introduce the universe thru their eyes.

Yeah you and Dink both liking Warhammer has me interested for sure. Im gonna check it out. Have more free time than usual these days.

Edit: Louder what is the WH to read or watch in order to learn the basics and pick up the plot/setting?

Yeah the mechs are pretty much all piloted by humans. But that's not usually a good thing.

There is a pretty compelling need argument that the warhammer universe is set in the Dune universe, just even more in the future and way darker.

But as part of dune "universe" humans really don't trust AI/robots for pretty much the same reason.

Yeah those movies were great. There is a similar grandiose Gothic atmosphere that will be important to capture.

If it was anyone but Cavill I would be worried about them wussing it up like you talked about. It needs to grimy and dark, definitely not fit for sub 13yo's.

Saw this video in the FF and watched it...aside from defense scoring 2TDs we needed to win and a goal line stand in OT...our secondary had their best game since we destroyed Iowa in the bowl a couple years ago. Wow. Boo was the highest rated DB also. Surpised me.

2 defensive tds, 5 sacks, 11 other Tfls.

Defense definitely made an impact. They got away from the run for some reason.

Offense never seemed to get on the same page.

If you like it, there's also a Warhammer set in a more Tolkien-esque realm that is basically a fantasy version of earth, geography and all.

Aztec lizard people, undead Egyptians, giant rats with flamethrowers, vikings that worship evil gods... **** like that.
