That’s a loss imo our defense will get shredded by Simpson m, but getting out of starkville with a win today means 10-2 and 9-3 is still on the table. Our season and playoff hopes would’ve have effectively ended today with a loss. We can hold serve at home that just leaves the Florida game at the swamp as a 50/50 game and 10-2 will get us back in the playoff.

At Florida is never a 50/50 game. They could be winless and we would make fluke mistakes that haven’t been seen in modern football. It’s like the Bermuda Triangle down there for us.

We can probably score some on them… However, we made Stockton look like a Heisman in our own stadium allowing him to throw for almost 350 yards.

Agreed. I love our kids and know they will play as hard as they can. I’m going to expect more from Heupel in that game as opposed to decisions he made vs GA and State today and put these kids in good situations to succeed. I don’t want to see him seemingly let his foot off the gas nor make inexplicable play calls or clock mgmt decisions. He has to get better in both aspects.

I doubt Kirby is (in this comparison). They’ve won 2 national titles under him AND they won’t have to play Alabama each and every season with the upcoming scheduling format.
