MSU played well. We were lucky - REALLY lucky - after our terrible clock management at the end of regulation eliminated any chance for us to kick a game-winner in regulation.

Another issue was the lack of running plays. I thought Tennessee would have an advantage running the ball but I rarely saw the plays called. It put a lot more pressure on Aguilar and passing game.

I just hope the Nega-Vols are willing to credit our lads with a significant road win for the first time in the history of Josh Heupel (if you squint enough to ignore LSU, Clemson, and all those other ranked teams we've beaten away from home).

They were far better in the running the ball than I expected. They completely bested us in that department. Their defense is improved too. We were unable to run the ball like we normally do.
