Thats why it’s dumb imo. Even getting 3 there can allow you to go up two scores early in the third and puts all the pressure back on them. It’s just such a safe and beta move. Trust your QB.

Getting 3 requires a legitimate kicker and if they get the 1-2 yards then you risk being down
