The season has started off with a 1-1 record. Mcminn beat Bradley for the second straight year as they outgained The Bears and made them pay in the second half. Bradley bounced back on the road at Walker Valley to even their record. Tonight is a region contest as The Bears welcome Hardin Valley.

The Bears have been rolling, entering tonight’s matchup at 4-1 overall and 2-0 in region play. Oak Ridge makes the trip with a perfect 5-0 record after dominating Cleveland 35-7 last Friday. For Bradley, Kenyon Phelps will be a crucial factor if the Bears hope to pull off the win—he rushed for 99 yards on just 10 carries last week against Red Bank. History is against Bradley, however, as Oak Ridge owns a 14-0 advantage in the all-time series.

Warning… this live feed has a decidedly Oak Ridge bias but its live. David is a great broadcaster, his color guy, Mike, gives it a decidely “local flavor”. 🤣🤣🤣😉🤙🏼🧡

Update: The Bears dropped a heartbreaker to Oak Ridge, 10-7, on September 26 but bounced back last Friday with a dominant win over crosstown rival Cleveland. This week, the Bears hit the road to face Soddy Daisy. They currently sit third in the region standings, trailing only undefeated Maryville and Oak Ridge.

Bradley delivered an out of region win this past Friday as they dominated Soddy Daisy 40-6. Bradley will now enjoy a much needed bye week before a huge region showdown on the road at Maryville.

Bradley made the trip to Maryville and came away with a tough loss, as the Rebels’ talent proved overwhelming. Maryville’s Cohen Babelay led the way with 65 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Bradley will wrap up the regular season this Thursday on the road against a winless Bearden squad. With Bearden allowing nearly 37 points per game, Bradley’s offense will look to close things out on a strong note before shifting focus to the playoffs.

Bradley dominated Bearden 44–6 on Thursday night and will now head to Jefferson County for the first round of the playoffs this Friday. It’s been a solid regular season for the Bears, especially given the number of injuries they’ve had to overcome.

There was no escaping the grip of Bradley Central’s “Black Hole Defense” on Friday night in Dandridge, as Region 1-2A runner-up Jefferson County was overwhelmed in the second half of the TSSAA playoff opener.

Fueled by their senior captains, the Bears pulled away for a 31-20 victory — marking their 14th postseason appearance in the past 15 years.

Bradley now turns its focus to a two-hour road trip to Murfreesboro, where they’ll take on the undefeated and imposing Oakland Patriots this Friday night.

Undefeated Oakland was too powerful for Bradley and defeated them 35-10. Bradley's season ends with an elimination in the 2nd round of the playoffs and an overall record of 8-4.
