Questions about this flotilla. I understand there are some NATO members involved. Those NATO countries escort ships will have to peel off once in international waters or risk initiating hostilities with Israel.

I've heard it said that this will trigger article 5 if hostilities break out.

My first question is if foreign warships enter Israeli territorial waters uninvited that's quite the provocation. If that indeed does happen why would the US nor any other NATO country be bound by article 5 to any specific action should Israel respond?

Second question what is going to happen when the flotilla gets to Israel? Where do they think they are going to go? They will not be welcomed to any port, how can they offload supplies?

I know that but two of the flotilla escorts are NATO. And yes, if these ships were to escort this flotilla all the way to Gaza they would enter Israeli territorial waters.
