Apparently Mississippi State's defense is all about taking away the deep ball.

They are 14th in the country in passing yards allowed giving up only 129 yards a game.

They're longest completion given up is 37 yards.

That being said, we are by far the best passing offense they have played so far.

Their gameplan will be to take away the deep ball, which will give us a soft box and allow throws underneath. Great recipe to pound the rock for 5+ yards per play.

Maybe being 68th in rushing defense has something to do with that stat too.

It’s inevitable.

Expand to 16 teams. Guaranteed bids but no guaranteed seeding. Sec and Big 10 each get 4 guaranteed bids (conference championship participants and 3rd and 4th runner ups). Other power 4 get 1. At large no guaranteed bids. SEC in this format likely gets 6 teams in the playoffs each year, deservingly so.

Or the sec and big 10 break away from ncaa in football to create their own super conference/division and there will be a lot of Non-sec/big10 D1 schools feeling like they got left behind with nothing to show for it, would honestly probably be the final nail in coffin for ncaa.

@drvenner every time the wifey hears a bad joke😭🤣🤣

Bob and daryl are hiding in the barn praying the door doesn’t get blasted open any moment. Lady number 2 forgot she’s in America, not the Swiss mountains. Last women is screaming after a man that took his own life 10 years ago because he couldn’t take it anymore. And she has no idea, thus still screaming.

There is a free movie on youtube called "Iron Sky: The Coming Race". Absolute must watch cinema. The original is pretty good, but this one challenges as best sci-fi of all time. . .

Nasty, nasty work 👀 no wonder Aguilar looks good, just take your pick. Heupel is getting 2+ WRs open on every play, 😂.
Hendon hooker was so good with this, and Aguilar seems to get it too. Having the intent to get the ball out quickly, but the patience to let the route 2nd option develop is a balance that when done well results in open wide receivers every time in this offense. You have to choose to play man or zone and in either there is a gap or assignment that will be exploited, and still doesn’t take 3+ seconds (sack territory) to fully develop like a lot of pro style deep ball routes/plays.

OSUs incredibly complex and communication/intellect dependent split defense where they play combo of man and zone high/low or side to side is probably the only team that could schematically defend this. Others (like uga) have only been able to stop it by going straight man and relying on superior talent.

I confess i doubted Heard last year

I doubted Aguilar to be what he has been.

In a lot of ways Josh Heupel and this staff turns players into the stuff only sunshine pumpers could have dreamed of 10 years ago.

It is such a truly breathe of life to aee guys exceeding their former potential because coaching and scheme are melding in the right mixtures.

Now please go beat that Miss St ass like they stole our kids lunch money.
