I personally know a number of people that are representative of the best and the brightest among the 20-30 year old range.
The days of a wanna be king hanging banners of himself on federal buildings while silencing the press and federalizing cities are not likely to continue much longer.

I can only speak from my subjective experience having a 17yo and 23yo, but in their respective social circles and SM there was already a strong swing of the pendulum back towards Conservative principles and politics before they murdered Charlie...a reaction to the insanity of the Biden admin. Charlies death has only galvanized their stances and added to the fold some. As others have posted here, Church attendance and youth group have been way up since this incident as well. I have no idea what that means longterm...but I believe the Lefties here greatly underestimate how disgusted the majority of people are with his murder and the unprecedented celebration of that murder. That type of evil is ugly on anyone...and nobody with a moral compass is OK with celebrating or glorifying that evil.

Chris Rock did a very interesting documentary about extensions/weaves. I watched it on HBO . The average black woman in the documentary spent between $800 and $2000 on their hair which lasts a month to 6 weeks depending on how well they take care of it. He discussed how they will not pay their rent or mortgage to get their hair done. Most of the women in his documentary had boyfriends to help pay for their hair. The Indian girls who grew the hair for years got nothing for it...they believe that they will have 1 entire year of prosperity/good luck for donating it to the temples. The temples then sell the hair by the pound wholesale. It blew my mind. Both my little sisters have real hair. They have never paid for extensions or weaves etc.

I don't disagree with your reasoning. Youth votes seldom materialize and I am not sure the youth vote has ever decided an election. But you are talking about regional elections and not national. I think the chances are higher for them to impact locally rather than nationally.

How am I supposed to know what you are implying with adding "not likely" in the point. I don't think the post I quoted even mentioned Trump. You broad-brush MAGA so much that I suspected you were painting that picture on the next candidates as well. You said "not likely" to exist much longer, or some such.

i.e.--I know a lot of young adults. This MAGA thing is "not likely" to exist much longer.
