Boycott ABC, ESPN & All Disney Products and Properties

I'm just sticking to facts and I posted wording straight from Sinclair's website. If you don't believe them and want to call them liars you're free to do so

Oh really?

I visited the Sinclair website and it has nothing posted there about Jimmy Kimmel.

By all means, though. Provide a link to the "wording straight from Sinclair's website'.

I've done the same.

He's just being obstinate. Now that he has found AI, the frequency with which he actually discusses a topic fully is rare.

You do realize previous posts are kept in the thread, right???

It is literally 6 posts previous.

Got it.

Interesting whoppers in that PR:

"Sinclair will not lift the suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on our stations until formal discussions are held with ABC regarding the network’s commitment to professionalism and accountability."

So... Sinclear admits that it DID NOT remove Kimmel because of any sort of ratings decline. Rather, Sinclair ADMITS that it punished him for so called lack of "professionalism and accountability".

Curious, tell me guys: If Kimmel's monologue on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th was so offensive, why did Sinclair wait until the evening of WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th to punish him - which just happened to be AFTER FCC Chairman Carr threatened ABC? Sinclair would have, could have, should have made their so-called "unilateral decision" IMMEDIATELY after Kimmel was so horrible.

But it didn't.

But once the FCC threatened Sinclair... THEN it decided to punish Kimmel.

Glad we all agree now.

I doubt he'll be on at this time next year. We'll also see if the affiliates carry him

Why wouldn't they? Again, Sinclair's PR was silent to Kimmel's show's performance. If anything, like McDad said, Kimmel will likely get a HUGE initial ratings boost next week thanks to his BIGGEST fans...

Gonna be funny to see how this plays out with the affiliates. Is Sinclair going to make him apologize to somebody he didn't wrong? Is an apology worth anything if it's not warranted and the person doesn't mean it? Is Sinclair willing to be stubborn about this and lose $?

I got a real problem with 1A being threatened by our gubment. Suspect you feel the same way Hogg.

Oh Really?

To state the obvious, while freedom of speech is a fundamental right, it is not absolute, and therefore subject to restrictions.

Don't believe me? Go into your nearest movie theater, yell "FIRE!" and wait for LEOs to come arrest you. Wanna go hard core, write or speak a threat to the President or other elected officials. Then, enjoy your conversation with the Secret Service.

2nd grade stuff here.
