If the mid-terms would go to MAGA, it's even more indication that society is rejecting the woke liberal worldview. If that were the case, would it make you immoral for rejecting this societal-based morality that you espouse? If society has gone MAGA, shouldn't you, as a moral being in a world where morality is socially-defined, become MAGA as well?Mid terms. That would be enough to send him into remission.
I personally believe that morality dictates that you remain true to your own evolving morals, even when they contradict the current morals of society. If the mid-terms would go to MAGA, it's even more indication that society is rejecting the woke liberal worldview. What are the implications for you if you are diametrically opposed to a current moral social construct?
It's MUCH more complicated than you seem to think.I personally believe that morality dictates that you remain true to your own evolving morals, even when they contradict the current morals of society.
Really, it's not overly complicated. Except for Flatlanders...
Believe the death of Charlie Kirk solidified the right winning next years mid-terms. Too many seats will have to go on record on how they responded. If the mid-terms would go to MAGA, it's even more indication that society is rejecting the woke liberal worldview. Flatlander is a book. It's MUCH more complicated than you seem to think.
So, morality isn't even a social construct. It's singularly a Luther construct. Seems pretty arrogant and dangerous, actually.
Also seems to put you in the uncomfortable situation of having to rationalize all the internal contradictions that make you what you claim to hate.
But nonetheless... Can you explain how morality is a social construct, as you've stated, while also not being a social construct, it's an evolving Luther-construct?
Speaking of flatlanders, wouldn't that be you? Wasn't Flatland perched on a series of infinitely-stacked turtles, each insufficient to be the foundation of the flat planet?
You know, when your reductive worldview produces such glaring internal contradictions, it seems rational to step back and reconsider.
Flatlander is a book.
All we are doing is discussing comments you made in this thread. We're getting into the "it's own thread" territory.
I don't think the event will have that much staying power. I believe the midterms will be more of the same with campaigns, issues, and rhetoric.
I don't disagree with your reasoning. Youth votes seldom materialize and I am not sure the youth vote has ever decided an election. But you are talking about regional elections and not national. I think the chances are higher for them to impact locally rather than nationally.I do, because the new Charlie Kirk Republican of the youth movement is bigger than anyone anticipated.
My oldest (girl) who’s been on the fence politically is really questioning what she thought of the liberal platform. Ole dad letting her see the light in her own time.IDK about that. I was around a bunch of 20-30 somethings yesterday at the grandkids b-day parties. The topic of conversation was CK, I think his murder solidified a good many in that age group.

My sister used to careless about politics, never even voted. After CK was killed she looked some stuff up and has been texting me all week asking about him and his platform etc...... I hope she has seen the light as well.My oldest (girl) who’s been on the fence politically is really questioning what she thought of the liberal platform.
