Good news. Didn't screw up. And unfortunately, @hog88 is right.

Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier responded with one word after former President Barack Obama accused the Trump administration of taking "cancel culture" to a "dangerous level" after Disney pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show off the air.

"Scary," the five-time WNBA All-Star wrote.

You see the parallel?

And it also turns out a lot of what was being distributed wasn't misinformation after all
There is no parallel.

Biden didn't come out and say Carano should be fired.

Jessica Rosenworcel didn't come out and threaten affiliate broadcast licenses, or leveling FCC investigations because of what Carano said.

I did some digging. FCC suit made comments Monday (9/15) according to Monty's op in boycott thread.
Your link dated 9/17 references earlier this morning. Even if those discussions started the day before (9/16), it's still after the FCC suites statements.

Or, am I off?

Kimmel’s comments didn’t air until Monday night so I don’t know.

Where were all these Volnation free speech warriors during the time when the Biden truth ministry was twisting, YouTube, Twitter, etc.’s arms to demonetize and sensor free speech during Covid?

Trump needs to shut his pie hole, but
Kimmel was told to apologize by his boss and said No. Last I checked insubordination was grounds for termination.

He asked what was different. That was a difference .... and yes, Brendan Carr's public statement was a threat. That's not spin. That's reading comprehension ....

.... but I wouldn't expect someone who isn't capable of understanding something as simple as the Equal Time Rule, to be able to comprehend anything that wasn't written in crayon.

You’re having difficulty comprehending that the FCC chair making a comment about a broadcast entity, which he has regulatory authority over, is far different from comments that an FCC chair would make about a cable TV channel.

You’ve also missed my point that he can look into late night TV’s practice airing infomercials for the DNC and attempting to subvert the equal time provision by pretending it’s comedy.

But none of that surprises me.
