I noticed them walking down the aisle toward the corner of the endzone. Felix was the only reason they caught my attention.Did anyone else see a group of the bball team at the game yesterday in checkerboard overalls? I didn’t recognize them all but it was impossible to miss Felix as he looks about 7’-6” tall. Nate Ament looks taller than 6’-9”. He’s going to be a true freak of nature if he truly has the skills to play as a wing. Recognized Boswell and Carey also and there was several others who I didn’t as they passed. We have a really tall team this year.

yup.
I’m of the opinion the “Cade practicing at the 3” reports have more do with who was on campus and available for those workouts.
But I can absolutely see a niche defensive lineup where he does and we are as big as an NBA team. Like end of game situations where you are subbing out offense/defense.
I don't think so. That would also be 7 more years, I don't see him here that long. This may be dumb, and feel free to make fun of me. I wonder if Barnes, in terms of career goals, has any kind of desire or intent to match his length of time at Tennessee with that of Texas. Is he possibly seeing 17 seasons as a bench mark of sorts?
I'd say as a personal goal he probably would like to become the all-tine winningest coach at Tennessee, surpassing Ray Mears. He's roughly 40 games away from that record. Being the winningest coach at two major universities like Tennessee and Texas would be a nice capstone to a long career. Hopefully he adds a national title to it, too. This may be dumb, and feel free to make fun of me. Not dumb at all to me. Agree w the other Chris. And jmo but I think he’d like to surpass his Texas number to be a Vol when he’s eventually inducted. This may be dumb, and feel free to make fun of me. I know some here hate BP but having read and heard him talk recently (talking about serious matters and not basketball) I think BP may be feeling a much higher calling than a basketball coach.I think this is also because he has been hinting at a Senate run. I’m not sure how serious he is about it, but he’s made some off-hand comments over the past few months.
