you worry too much...NIL isn't limited to the big cities,,,there's this new thing called internet,,....There are NO small cities anymore,,,If we got the horses, the KY derby has to come to us

I didn’t say I was worried just stating that other schools will offer more now but Im not worried not one bit I promise you.like I said we can’t be outbid

Was reading few articles said Edwards may still take some of those other official visits she has set up? Will she take them or do we believe her comittment is the end of her recruitment?

She may as well. Building relationships has become important in this new era of NIL/TP recruiting. If she’s all Vol, it should not be a problem. Red carpet and great eat events! Enjoy, young lady!

I would also like to add that she is an absolute babe!
And she seems to be an ok coach and recruiter too.

I'd never given this thought, but, these paid visits could be (for the athlete) a kind of gift to the parents, to get treated royally for all the trips and driving and sacrifices they've put into their child's career. I dunno, but makes sense to me.

Which other schools is she considering? Are they known for being aggressive with their NIL?

And, until we see even speculated comments out on social media that adidas NIL is offering any women's hoops recruit anywhere near the $1.5 million which Nike Jordan Brand reportedly came up with for OU to sign 2025 Aaliyah Chavez this past Spring, not sure you can say with confidence who can outbid whom. For the 2026 class, I'm assuming Jordan Brand paid a huge NIL amount for North Carolina to gain Kate Harpring's commitment.

Which recruit has been tied to a huge NIL deal from adidas based on the college they committed to or signed with? Most likely Olivia Edwards, but not sure any specific NIL number has been floated around out on social media.

Yeah I don’t like recruits taking other visits after you committed that should be the end of trips…

I mean why go to LSU and SC so they can try and put stuff in her head to maybe have her second guessing her commitment ? Mulkey and Dawn will do or say anything to get her to switch..

Big Oh isn't going anywhere. Since her initial commitment post, she has posted more TN-related content/pics and made it clear that TN is home. She has Lady Vols hoops in her instagram bio.

It's so obvious we haven't been in this situation in a loooongggg time with recruiting. The PTSD is real. (When is signing day again?) Lol.

She's a LV. Let's take a deep breath.

I’ll caution taking paywall sites with self-interest words as credible. I know a few that usually have a lot to say when big name prospects commit that have been basically silent on their social media pages since Oliviyah Edwards committed to Tennessee.
What articles are you talking about? I’ve seen national sports outlet articles that haven’t said anything about Oliviyah Edwards still taking visits since her commitment. Matter of fact, the same sites that claim South Carolina was leading for Edwards are likely the ones saying she is going to take more visits.
If she does it still really doesn’t mean anything will change. The 5-star OT that committed to Tennessee this past year went on more visits and didn’t switch his commitment.
Let her make her own decisions.

A lot of players do and very few don't visits are fun time for a player. I like our chances of keeping her she is tied to Adidas and were the top Adidas school right now. I'm not worrying about other visits she is considered a hard commit to Tennessee.

Wasn't saying i was worried bout her switching up her committ. I was basically just wondering if she was still gonna visit anyway!? NIL is like dating, usually the women are the more loyal ones! Lol

Strong went on extra visits last season, but she was never going anywhere but UConn. Guess we'll know in a few days what her plans are she can't sign with us until November so a couple months to go.
