I mean, you’re not wrong in the sense that this was always gonna be a long turnaround job. I felt that way going back to Vrabel’s tenure.
But it still feels like a matter of when and not if Callahan gets fired. If I’ve learned anything the last few seasons, it’s that Strunk is very easily swayed by the people inside the building. And Callahan is not this GM’s coach. It’s why I felt we should’ve just cleaned house when we fired Ran Carthon.
Our starting RT was outThe o line doesn't look to have improved much........ I don't get how you can spend the money we did and not improve. I was hoping to see improvement week one to week two. Still early in the game but they look bad on that first drive.
We have to improve our linebacker room too.
We have had a weak pathetic line for years. It’s unacceptable not to have quality back ups. Sick of this cheap franchise.
I dont' see how Callahan survives after this season, if he even makes it to the end.
We've had 5 coaches since Bud Adams died in 2013. 13 years counting 2013.
Vrabel lasted 6 seasons, half of the years.
4 coaches, counting Cally' and Munchak in 2013 in the other 7 years.
Point is, even with a change, do you trust ownership to make the right decision?
I agree. But I think he makes it to the end. TN would have to replace 2 coaches mid season if they fired him, since his Daddy clearly would not stay with his son having been fired.I dont' see how Callahan survives after this season, if he even makes it to the end.
Don't think AAS will be involved in a coaching search. It will be up to Borgonzi and Brinker. Don't think she wants to be making football decisions. We've had 5 coaches since Bud Adams died in 2013. 13 years counting 2013.

Even with the cluster that is our game, i feel like Cam is the real deal. he is, or can be, a franchise qb. now is the time to strike and get the right coaches and playerz.Yes, there is hope. Borgonzi was a pretty hot GM candidate too, he would probably want to make a splash hire. Especially with Ward looking promising, new stadium etc.
I agree. That Tackle from Miami is looking nice, but he projects more as a RT or Guard. I say trade down and either take best OL available or Love.If we land a top 5 pick again (which seems likely) hopefully we are trading out of the pick. We need to be getting extra picks to build up the talent on this team.
The only guy I really love that is projected to be a top 5 pick at a position of need is Caleb Downs.
We need a RB too, and Love is really good, but a team with as many holes as ours can't afford to take a RB in the Top 10.
I completely tuned out as far as expectations for this team after they canned Vrabel for asking for exactly what he got with the New England Patriots.I felt beginning of the end when Ran was hired. He had no business getting a GM learning on the job role with a franchise with a somewhat entrenched head coach.
Then came the Levis pick in the same offseason.
