We all throw in $5 and whoever wins, wins the jackpot. Now that I have won a week I have guaranteed at least a break even for the year so everything from here through the rest of the season is a cherry on top.

So many of his films pitted an individual against "the system"--sometimes private sector, sometimes public sector. I think he had good instincts. Like all of us, by necessity, he went with the best information he had at the time.

The irony is that his films that were once fully embraced by the left, are now embraced by the right. Yet we're all still arguing.

You'd almost think someone's goal is to keep us arguing.
