'26 NC EDGE Andrew Rogers (Virginia Tech commit)

I’d take both. Different kinds of players. You can never have too many DL as we’ve seen. But if I had to choose Quinn has the better offer list.
That was my reaction when I heard Ray’s comment, as well. I hope we take both. With his frame, Rogers could grow into a beast on the interior.

It's sort of dumb that these recruiting services call both projected pass rushers and projected defensive ends EDGE players. I don't get that because they are two different positions and require two different body types typically.

They typically do most of their scouting at camps where the main 1-on-1 event is pass rusher trying to get to "qb" vs. offensive lineman so maybe they just lazily lump them together? Also, recruiting services just aren't as in-depth with their analysis as people think.

They are worthless. I don't need convincing. They are wrong more than they are right.

Yeah, at this point just trust the coaches. Nobody thought Jesse Perry or Ty Redmond would be as good as they are simply because they have a 3 star next to their name. In fact I saw a lot of Vols fans complaining about them being signed. It's ridiculous to have more faith in 247 and rivals than a coaching staff who won 30 games in 3 years while dealing with probation and severe recruiting restrictions.
