Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

So you prefer civilization with multiple gods and we then need a god of war, god of love, god of wisdom, etc.?
Let's talk about the source of value in the human life and our inaliable rights! Child sacrifices. The concept of karma that teaches that it's bad to help the needy, as it short-circuits their karmic process. The mass-murders of every atheistic government that's existed.

It's lazy and self-refuting to call the very thing that produced the values one claims to love as "the scourge of civilization". lol

Bill Clinton would have been impeached by today's Democrat party.

However, the republicans have been a party of neocon RINO liars until Trump came in and exposed them, so he probably has a point. We've basically had a deep state single-party system that feigns disagreements just enough to keep the voters arguing and passionately flocking to the voting booths.

He's right. The right has moved back to the right. (But that doesn't mean it's gone fringe right by and large.)

The left had it great for a while. It's understandable to see them mourning the sight of its dismantling.
Hillary would be a knockoff Marsha Blackburn.

I know about the responsibilities of military personnel. You're exactly right about that. My point was: has this effort to scrutinize SM been done for other politically based violent attacks?

That question I could not answer, but I don’t recall hundreds of thousands or maybe millions celebrating or justifying a political motivated murder. Maybe you can point to one?

I think this is a unique situation.

A man was killed at free speech event where an exchange of different ideas and views were encouraged to be discussed. The epitome of The First Amendment.

I’m not familiar which social media platforms that you use, but I never seen the numbers of people justifying and celebrating the death of someone. It’s insane how many teachers, nurses, doctors, business owners, police officers, and military personnel have posted their celebration or justification of a murder.

I diasgree..border, tariffs, etc..

At what point does the reaction have to be so disparate to the action that we collectively condemn it with no BUT at the end of the statement? Murder for speech that makes no clear and overt call for violence should probably be that point.

Or, people on both sides could temper the level of their confrontational, demeaning styles. Explain. Reason. Not add gasoline to the fire.

Ok only one comment from me then I am running away from this thread again.

The first amendment only protects individuals from government infringement. So I’d guess that the DoD SM review will likely get shot down unless the government can prove somehow that exercising one’s right about an individual not in their chain of command breaks any UCMJ laws or regulations.

Now as many are finding out via their fairly rapid dismissals from their jobs or other appointments the first amendment doesn’t provide cover against private entities from taking actions.

No i don’t, I’m not superstitious, and Im ok with the unexplained and the inconceivable staying that way. I don’t need something made-up to supplement my lack of understanding.

I'm almost positive that President Trump ordered the flags at half-mast. I'm almost positive he's in her chain of command.

That sounds like we no longer have the backbone to listen and engage in opposing ideas. And it really sounds like sacrificing the thing that makes us the greatest country in the world to pander to the morally bankrupt and mentally unfit.
