Yea. Ole Miss scores 41 with a QB from Ferris State. Notre Dame has scored 40. Vandy scored 31 against USCe. There will be shootouts just like there will be low scoring games.

Run blocking was just okay. Not terrible or amazing. Good enough against that Georgia front 7 imo. Star is our best rb. Needs the majority of carries going forward.

My takeaway after today's game.

The loss sucks, today's result is best summed up in two words Missed Opportunities.

Aside from the loss I'm encouraged by this team, I think we're ahead of where we thought we'd be.

D line hasn't met expectations, multiple injuries, it should improve, not worried. Edge has been as advertised

D backs mixed bag trending toward the mediocre side. Again injuries, young players getting in game reps will pay off down the road.

Linebackers, mixed bag, they make some really good plays and flash at times but they stand out equally on the negative side as well. I expect them to improve as the d line gets bellcows back.

QB very good play, some streaky stuff and some accuracy issues but much better than we've had the last two years.

Running backs today were good to very good, guy what was there.

Wide receivers having some drops, some of that is on the QB. Overall I'm happy with their play.

TE's were physical today but missed on some key targets.

O line held up well, better at pass pro than in the running game

We were in that game, and should have won it..... Not many had is winning that game pre season.

We are fine.

As Ive states earlier in the week. Georgia amd Arkansas seemed to know our play calling on defense. Its odd. I dont know enough if its misalignments, or just bad play calls.

But their offensive play calling isnt illustrious, its just that our D is so bad, we overpursue, miss a tackle, dont shed blocks, or are not able to get home with blitzes. they pick them up 9/10 and scheme around it. how many times around the goal line did we send someone and stockton hit WR with ridiculous throw? the play calling and execution around the GL was putrid

We can’t win a title playing defense like today. We’re stacking a ton of offensive talent, but we’ve got to recruit better on defense at all three levels.

I thought we were stacking on defense. The fact is that UGA’s strength (running) is currently our weakness with 2 DT’s out. If we had McCoy, Gibson healthy with Hood, they would be good. Farooq and Redmond are going to be good but young.

We did score 41 on a very tough defense. Offense was really great today

I think it was nerves and the moment. Just didnt hit it well. Immediate push.

Nerves clearly, but again he’s got to make that. He trains for that moment all year.
