LB and safeties aren’t good enough. Turrentine is awful. Telander isn’t athletic enough

Thought our LBs had a rough day today. Turrentine has been bad for awhile. We need to spend money on a safety at some point.

Linebacker play in the 4th quarter was better than in the rest of the game. We figured something out with their run game and were being more physical. Turrentine looked so slow out there. We need to get healthy.

I don’t understand Banks love for certain safeties especially Turrentine. If I’m banks (which he won’t do), when McCoy gets back, I am moving boo opposite Farooq. Farooq was a major surprise today. They tested the hell out of our safeties in the run game and he was making great tackles and hitting hard. He came up fast too. He is an excellent player. It just showed how bad we have been at that spot.

I really think that if Heupel goes for jugular after the fumble in the 4th instead of running 3 straight times then we win..Period..Let Aguilar do his thing and deliver a deep ball to Brazzell or Staley..

I will say, Brazzell & probably Star only 2 guys that basically played “perfect” games.

Joey had some bad throws, other WRs & TEs had some drops they shouldn’t have.

So many plays though that could’ve been made.

Still you tell me, Vols have a chance to win at end of game with a FG inside 45 yards. I’m gonna be pretty happy.

Keep getting better, cause we have lots of youth playing now. Get healthier as well & win out!

Two drives where we had all the momentum & went 1 of 2 on FGs.

That fumble recovery when up 35-30 should’ve been the nail in the coffin.

Sham can’t jump, Max has to hit that.

This team is getting better every week, just gotta get some guys back. We can win out with Joey, fully believe that now.

The Starkville game is going to be tougher than most think. Especially if our defense can’t pull it together.

There were 3-4 holds on that one play. Not ticky tack holds. Full blown "will you still love me in the morning" holds.

I hate losing, but I feel good knowing what kind of team we're working with. These guys can play ball. We're gonna be a real problem at full-power.

Not many teams can stay in a game with us playing like we did today. We laid 41 on what most consider one of the best defenses in the nation.

Get healthy, play spillman more, give Beasley/Boo reps at safety. Turrentine is slow-ish and takes poor angles, telander is slow and a liability in pass coverage. Our defense will be fine

Too bad our coaches won’t change and will continue with Turrentine and Telander. And they aren’t moving boo. It is what it js.
